Bio

Born and raised in Queens NY, John discovered his interest in photography after taking an intro high school class. Intending to study architecture, photography soon became his main interest and he turned down an architectural scholarship at the Pratt Institute to pursue a BFA in photography at the Art Institute of Boston. After graduating, John relocated back to New York where he currently resides. Still having a strong interest in architecture his commercial work focuses around interiors and design. "The Emerald Necklace," a landscape documentary project which explores the changes undergone by the Boston area city parks from the 19th century through today is currently being expanded to explore similar themes within the New York park system.
